The company was founded in 1980 by Antonio Balma who with over 60 years experience in the industry was regarded by many as the “Father of compressed air” - ABAC has grown into the strong and dynamic company of today that now heads the multi-national ABAC Group of companies.
Thanks to a long and unique heritage in the production of air compressors, the Company has secured a position as world-wide market leader in the production and distribution of air compressors for the industrial, professional, semi-professional and DIY sectors.

The wide range of ABAC compressors provide a complete solution to all users of compressed air, comprising a wide choice of piston compressors and rotary screw compressors for industrial, automotive and other applications. Employing both lubricated and oil free technology in a power range of between 1 kW and 620 kW. In addition a complete range of accessories including dryers, air treatment, pneumatic tools, filters and fittings are available.
